Action Plan

Goal/End Product: Identify the media-based product or technology-based solution you will create during the next three months.
My goal is to create a professional website for Martin Productions.  This will help attract new customers and give my current clients/fans a chance to navigate through my work.
Target Audience:  Who will be viewing or using your product? How will this effect your decisions?
Future and current clients.  This site should be aesthetically appealing and easily navigated.
My audience will made up of family, friends and anyone who is looking for photography, slideshows or videos.
Experts or test group:  Identify who your expert reviewers or test group will be.
Classmates, Co-Workers, Current/Previous Clients

Purpose:  What is the overall goal of your project?
The goal is to have a professional website for my business so that I may attract/keep clients, appeal to an online community and gather all of my portfolio items in one area.
Objectives: Your objectives must be measurable.  Use Bloom’s Taxonomy to help establish behavioral objectives.

  • Plan and Design Website
  • Determine content and relevance to my target audience.
  • Develop and produce the content to be included in the site.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of the site.
  • Present the project to the certificate panel in a virtual environment.
  • Distribute web address to potential customers via e-mail and social media.

Materials:  Determine what you will need to reach your goals.  This list may need revisions as you move through each month.
I am planning on using the web2.0 tool called WordPress, unless I find that it does not fulfill my needs.

Content - videos/pictures

*** I found a better fit for my site through Pixpa.com.  This allows me to have video and photography galleries.
Procedure and Timeline:  What are the steps needed to accomplish your goals and what are the deadlines you must set for yourself? Choose a collaborative tool to create and share your milestones and timeline.  You will post a link on your blog.
